about the nln-player
The nln-player is a simple non-linear music player, which makes it possible to play (short) musical fragments in a sequential, random or variable-responsive way. The nln-player is suitable for the development and presentation of reactive music created for games and other interactive media.

By means of horizontal re-sequencing, a method that enables the reorganisation of the sequence of pre-composed musical fragments, the nln-player responds to changing gameplay variables.
The musical fragments are grouped in ?levels? (or sub-groups) and have their data stored in the filename and/or a configuration file. This data is used by the music engine to decide which fragment should play next, when the playing fragment is about to end.
